Food Network Star and Former NFL Player Chef Tobias Dorzon Shot in Robbery Attempt – Report

Food Network star and former NFL player Chef Tobias Dorzon was shot during an apparent robbery in Maryland.

The Hyattsville Police Department released a statement on social media saying they were searching for five people involved in the incident.

In the statement shared on November 11, “We now have the descriptions of four of the five suspects related to the armed attack that injured two people on November 5.” Facebook.

Authorities stated that a robbery attempt was made against “a man and a woman returning from dinner” and they were both shot.

Both were taken to hospital and “their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening,” police said.

According to a report prepared by WBAL-TVIn the security camera footage of the incident, “a person can be seen hiding behind a car to hide while the attackers approached another person lying on the ground. Rapid gunshots and a woman’s screams are also heard.”

Dorzon is a chef and restaurateur who owns Huncho House and 1123 by Chef Tobias. Dorzon appeared on Food Network Chopped, Tournament of Champions, And Man’s Grocery Games.

Dorzon is a former football player who also played for the NFL teams Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans, and the Canadian Football League’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

After the incident, Dorzon thanked everyone who was concerned about his health.
