The criminal complaint stated that authorities tested the white powder and it returned positive results for methamphetamine. The total weight of the methamphetamine-laced T-shirts was approximately 13 kilograms, or just under 30 pounds.

When authorities asked him about the white powder on the T-shirts, he claimed he had no knowledge of it.

Officers escorted Saakwa-Mante to the bag screening area and seized his two iPhones before arresting him.
