Meanwhile, the Patriots’ season is pretty much over, but the 2-1 mark in the last three games is a great sign for the team’s future. Their young players, especially point guard Drake Maye, have looked solid in recent weeks, even if they lack the offensive talent of other teams.

Matthew Stafford: The Rams’ quarterback has had a bit of a boom-or-bust year, but he can’t afford to have any more “fail” starts if he wants to lead the Rams offensively in the second half and push for the playoffs. For Los Angeles, it’s now or never.

New England Patriots

Drake Maye: The Patriots’ rookie quarterback has been solid this season and has a quarterback rating of 84.1 despite not having a competent offensive line or significant weapons to throw at. If he can stay healthy and continue to improve this season, that would be a big win for the Patriots.

The Patriots may have looked impressive in recent weeks, but let’s remember the teams they’ve faced; Jets, Titans and Bears. They will now face a much stronger team in the Rams, who have made great strides since their poor first few weeks this season.

Los Angeles is finally healthy and looks like a much better team than its record would suggest, despite Monday’s loss. They have a strong defensive game, especially due to their pass rush, and I’m willing to bet the Patriots will have a hard time moving the ball against this unit.

I’ll put 4.5 points on Los Angeles.
