The Houston Texans are certainly one of the most intriguing teams in the NFL. They have a great young point guard in CJ Stroud, who led the team to the playoffs as a rookie last year. The team currently has a 6-4 record and is on the verge of a brutal defeat against the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football.

The Texans have tackled Jared Goff more than five times and he comes back with a record interception in a game. They also led 23-7 at halftime against the best team in the NFC. They were shut out in the second half, though, losing 26-23 after the Lions made the game-winning field goal as time expired.

After the 10th week, published on ESPN updated 2024 NFL playoff pictures give every team a chance to make the postseason. The Texans were given a 95% chance of making the playoffs and a 93% chance of winning the AFC South.

With a two-game lead over the Indianapolis Colts, a struggling team in the division, Houston is still in good position to make the playoffs. Therefore, the priority should be to reach their peak form in the second half of the season.

The team will soon see the return of superstar wide receiver Nico Collins, who was acquired from Injured Reserve prior to the Sunday Night Football game but was inactive for the contest.
