Boonville woman seriously injured in crash in Cooper County Friday night

COOPER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Boonville woman was seriously injured in a crash that occurred around 8:30 p.m. Friday night in Cooper County. Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states that Breanna Connell, 27, of Boonville, was traveling eastbound on I-70 in a 2012 Mazda CX-9 when she traveled around 106 mm when Connell went off the left side of the road and struck the median cable.

Connell then got back onto I-70 and went off the right side of the road, striking a guardrail in the face. Connell started back onto the road, then went off the left side of the road again and hit the center cable.

Connell was taken to University Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

The report states that he was not wearing a seat belt.
