EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville police say a car chase that began last week ended with a woman being taken to jail.

Officers said they saw a car driven by 29-year-old Chelsea Moore last Tuesday.

Police said they tried to stop him but he ran away.

On Monday night, officers said they spotted Moore’s car again. That’s when they tried to stop him a second time, but he ran away again.

A witness told police the car’s headlights were off and he nearly hit them.

Around 11:30 Monday night, officers said they spotted his car near Morgan Boulevard and Highway 41.

He was later arrested and currently faces various charges.
