CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is warning drivers of road closures after at least one person died in a crash involving a semi-truck.

Highway 78 near Poplar Grove Place in Summerville is completely closed due to a two-car crash between a semi-truck and another car.

According to authorities, drivers must find alternative routes for the morning commute as deputies remain on scene.
