Another nearly record-breaking day in Houston

Today’s Forecast:

HOUSTON – Today will be similar to what we saw on Monday. We’ll start the 60’s cool and comfortable. Temperatures will quickly warm into the 80s with sunny skies in the afternoon. The humidity will still be low, which will make us comfortable.

Cool front on Wednesday:

It was an unusually warm autumn. Temperatures in October were almost 4° above average, and so far in November we’ve seen temperatures in the mid-to-upper 80s almost every day except one. This is far from typical, as our average high this time of year is in the mid-70s.

Changes are coming Wednesday, but temperatures won’t drop dramatically like the fronts we’ve seen this fall. The front will pass through Wednesday night, so we’ll be extra hot and humid before the front arrives.

We’ll see a short cool down at the front on Thursday and Friday, perfect for the Nutcracker Market!

10-day Forecast:

You’ll notice that the 10-day forecast remains warm overall. We’ll see a brief cool down on Thursday and Friday, but highs will stay in the 80s for most of the week. However, I would like to draw your attention to next Wednesday. We were able to get our first cool air of the season.
