In response to the accusations, EFCC investigated the video to determine the true source of the incident.

In light of this statement, the agency officially invited the groom, Ibrahim Mohammed, to the EFCC national headquarters in Abuja.

The EFCC said it would also investigate anyone involved in the jetting of Naira banknotes to ensure compliance with Nigeria’s currency regulations.

“While the EFCC appreciates the public awareness created by the anti-exchange rate campaign, it will only act based on verified facts,” Oyewale said.
