COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Colorado Springs Police Department said they responded to a stabbing on E Platte Boulevard on Monday.

Police responded to E Platte Ave near Chelton Road around 1:30 p.m. to learn that two adult males were in a physical fight. He said they arrived at the 3200 block. During this fight, the victim was stabbed in the upper body.

Police said the victim’s condition was serious but not life-threatening. While the injured man was being treated in the hospital, the police said they expected him to recover.

Police said they were able to locate the suspect, Gable Jackson, and arrest him without further trouble.
