Indiantown deputies capture armed robbery suspect outside Juicy’s Nightclub after high-speed chase

INDIANTOWN, Fla. — A late-night visit to Juicy’s Nightclub by Gustavo Adolfo Alvarado Mireles, 25, wanted on armed robbery and other charges, took an unexpected turn. Martin County deputies followed Mireles as he sat outside the popular club, parked in his black Jaguar, unaware that his night would end behind bars.

Deputies noticed the suspect’s car outside Juicy’s and went inside. But instead of cooperating, Mireles took off at high speed and led deputies on a short but intense chase through the streets of Indiantown. The pursuit ended dramatically when Mireles lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole. Even then, he tried to escape on foot, but deputies quickly caught him.

Mireles currently faces a number of charges in Martin County, including grand theft of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license, fleeing and eluding, drug possession and impersonation of another person. He also has an outstanding arrest warrant out of Okeechobee for armed robbery and shooting into a residence.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office praised the quick actions of Indiantown deputies. Underlining the successful capture of a dangerous fugitive, the ministry said, “This was an elimination whose juice was worth the squeeze.”
