The jury had previously heard that Moore called Mr Ali in the early morning hours of March 9 under the guise of buying crack cocaine and offering him services as a sex worker.

During the meeting at The Ponderosa, she sent several text messages to the phone line used by the children to keep them aware of Mr. Ali’s movements.

It was heard the youths, who cannot be named due to their age, were involved in the running of a drugs supply line and decided to attack Mr Ali “to stop him selling drugs in their area”.

An eyewitness described seeing children holding knives against Ali, who shouted “please leave me alone” before he was fatally stabbed.

Moore denied any responsibility for his death, but the jury returned a guilty verdict after three hours of deliberation.
