Basar IIIT officials informed that Swathi Priya took the extreme step due to personal issues. A suicide note was found near his hostel room, in which he asked his parents to forgive him for taking the extreme step and expressed his feelings of loneliness.
Leaders and activists of ABVP staged a protest in front of the main gate of Basar IIIT and demanded that the authorities explain the reasons behind the student’s suicide.
