Peruvian congress holds hearing on claim of extraterrestrial ‘Nazca mummu’

Peruvian Congressman Germán Tacuri, a member of the Bloque Magisterial party and the Cultural Commission, held a public hearing at the Congress of the Republic of Peru titled “The Three-Digit Assets of Nazca” to discuss the possible existence of extraterrestrials and ‘tridactyl mummies’. ‘ or ‘humanoids’ discovered at Nazca.

According to Mexican television presenter Jaime Maussan, who has devoted the last decade to demonstrating the existence of extraterrestrial entities, the trial was aimed at “determining the accuracy of perhaps the most important finding in history: the trio of beings found between Nazca and Palpa.” Maussan, known for his controversial presentations on so-called non-human corpses at the Mexican Congress in 2023, announced on social media that a study about “three-fingered beings” found in the Nazca and Palpa regions will be presented at the hearing. He invited his followers to participate in the debate at the Peruvian Congress.

Congressman Tacuri has insisted three times that a public hearing on aliens be held. He stated that he insisted that this hearing be held in the Peruvian Legislative Palace because he saw it as “a place where all ideas should be discussed” and that all opinions, pro and con, would be respected. When consulted by the press, he defended the public hearing and affirmed that “Congress should be a space where all ideas can be heard.” Tacuri added that although he is not a scientist himself, he hopes experts will participate to provide their analysis and evaluate the accuracy of the findings regarding these so-called tridactyl beings.

“I went to the University of Ica and was able to see, let’s say, beings,” he said. Tacuri stated that his intention was not only to support this theory, but also to promote tourism in the southern region of Peru. “What interests me is to strengthen the tourist corridor… for these assets to have their own exhibition space,” he told Canal N.

Tacuri and fellow party member Paul Gutiérrez traveled to Mexico to attend the second public hearing on the regulation of unidentified anomalous phenomena held by the Mexican House of Representatives. Both parliamentarians were invited by federal MP Sergio Carlos Gutiérrez Luna. According to Gutiérrez Luna, the trip served to gather more information on the subject, because “research is being done on mummies and the Nazca lines in Peru.”

However, the authenticity of so-called tridactyl mummies is widely disputed by the scientific community. In January 2023, the Peruvian Public Ministry’s Institute of Forensic Medicine conducted an expert examination of two small mummies of alleged extraterrestrial origin seized at Jorge Chávez International Airport. According to forensic expert Flavio Estrada Moreno, the examination revealed that the parts were fake. Estrada Moreno explained that one of the skulls belonged to a four-legged mammal living on planet Earth and that the corpses were composed of bird bones. The elements were discovered to be combined with modern synthetic glue, disproving their supposed pre-Hispanic origin. The study concluded that these trunks were “constructions of very high quality.”

Physician and anthropologist Guido Lombardi, an expert on Peruvian mummies and author of The Handbook of Mummy Studies (2021), called Jaime Maussan’s latest presentation “part of an elaborate disinformation project.”

“You cannot make up a fact that does not exist. They are trying to deceive the public and the scientific community. In recent years they have tried to stretch the story to the maximum in order to profit from the story until this house of cards collapses.” .

Lombardi underlined that the case of the so-called “three-toed mummies of Nazca” reveals the growing practice of huaqueo in Peru. Huaqueo refers to the illegal excavation of pre-Hispanic graves to extract human remains and artifacts. There is evidence that real mummies have been manipulated to create alien-looking figures, leading treasure hunters to search for more bones to create new mummies for sale.

It has been documented that a pre-Hispanic adult-sized mummy had two fingers cut off from its hands and feet to simulate a three-fingered structure, and additional phalanges were added to lengthen the limbs. These changes aim to distort Peru’s cultural heritage, giving the ruins a non-human appearance.

Despite these findings, Congressman Tacuri remains unconvinced about the reality of the mummies. “The extraterrestrial mummies of Nazca are real,” he said. When asked about the scientific evidence that refutes the reality of mummies, Tacuri said: “You are asking the wrong questions; it is not about believing or not believing in the authenticity of mummies; it is about having the preparation, knowledge and wisdom to realize the reality of mummies.” If they aren’t real, why would a person or group of people go to the trouble of creating them in such detail? Why would anyone do this? “

There are concerns that such events could be exploited by people promoting mummies for financial gain. Tacuri dismissed these concerns and emphasized his determination to move the discussion forward. “I don’t care what others think, whether human or extraterrestrial. The event will happen anyway, and it will be held at the Congress of the Republic,” he said.
