Missing teen’s father pleads for son’s case to remain priority

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – It’s been nearly nine months since Sebastian Rogers was last seen in Hendersonville, and his father, Seth, said he never stopped looking for him.

Rogers, who was last seen at Stafford Court in Hendersonville on February 26, 2024, has been missing since then.

“I refuse to let my son be thrown away like trash,” Seth Rogers said. “I’m sad, I’m angry, I’m frustrated, I’m hurt, but none of that matters because I don’t know what my son is going through.”

Despite the ups and downs of her son’s case, Rogers says she has struggled with negativity from social media and other online platforms. He says bringing Sebastian home is taking away from the main priority.

“My house is very quiet because my son isn’t there,” Rogers said. “I just want my son to be found and brought home.”

Although Seth has not given up hope, he now feels that others are giving his son’s cause less priority.

“They (Investigators) haven’t come back and said anything to anyone since April,” Rogers said. “And if they’re actually talking to me, they should actually be answering their phone.”

Recently, Bounty Hunter Dog joined the search for Sebastian and added a significant reward to aid in the search for the missing teenager.

Seth continued to raise awareness for his son by holding prayer services and motorcycle rides to keep Sebastian’s name and face at the forefront of people’s minds.

“If he sees this, boy, I ain’t gonna stop,” Rogers said. “I’ll keep looking for you until I find you. If you see this, call me, you know my phone number, I won’t change it. And I love you.

WSMV has reached out to both the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for an update on the whereabouts of the investigation but has not received a response at this time.
