US Airman Starts Viral Fundraiser After Purchasing $20 Worth of Cookies from Kid’s Bake Sale

A little help can go a long way.

You can always count on our soldiers and servicewomen to set a good example for young people. It’s a great time to shine a light on those who served our country, especially as Veterans Day approaches next week. This random act of kindness that has gone viral is definitely worth your time.

A TikToker as the name suggests Dani Lane He recently decided to document a moment he shared with his wife. Mr. Lane is serving in the United States Air Force, and when he returned home from his deployment, he noticed a child setting up a neighborhood baked goods stand in his front yard.

As Dani described on TikTok, her husband insisted that they get some money to support the boy’s small business. The support made an immediate impact on the young man manning the desk, as you’ll see in the video below:

“My husband came home from work and said, ‘I have to go get money.’ There was a kid selling cookies at his table and I remember when I was his age no one stopped. “I’ll go give him $20.”

That’s the definition of heartwarming.

As the story broke, we learned more about “Jaztine’s Fluttering Baked Goods.” Dani told her followers on TikTok that the stand sold cookies and cupcakes and was actually run by Jaztin and her younger brother Camden, who was seen in the viral video.

Jaztin also serves in the military and is stationed out of state. Since the house Camden is set in front of is actually her grandmother’s house (she takes care of them), she uses her baked goods sales to support herself and her brother. So Mr. Lane didn’t know this, but his $20 was going to help a fellow soldier.

And guess what? original creator of TikTok sent a link to his personal Venmo account to raise money to gift Camden and Jaztin. In just a few days, kind people around the world donated $7,947 to support Jaztine’s Banging Baked Goods. Dani Lane is currently working to get all of that money to the family and is also helping them create a logo for their baked goods business. And still more money is flowing.

These kinds of stories can often lift me up wonderfully, and social media has been overwhelmed by the generosity that sparks a feel-good story that continues to be increasingly inspiring:

“I’m not crying, you’re crying! It was so real! The emotions in your body language and face said it all! I’m grateful for this positive attitude.”

“And he couldn’t wait to get into the house and share the good news! “I love this so much.”

“The neighborhood lemonade stand is perhaps the most important business in America. “This shows the child’s desire to work and entrepreneurial spirit, but it also allows us to see communities supporting each other.”

“There are still a lot of good people in this world.”

“I implore you to stop and visit every time you see one of these. Even if you don’t care what they sell, the impact a few dollars of yours will have on their future is worth hundreds of times what you can get out of your wallet.”
