LISBON — A Wellsville woman was sentenced to more than 12 1/2 years in prison on multiple indictments on more than a dozen drug charges, and her involvement in a drive-by shooting last year is challenging her sentence.

Jordyn Price, 27, of McKee Road, recently appealed her sentences in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, which ordered some of the sentences to be served consecutively, one after the other, rather than concurrently. once.

The bulk of his prison sentence stemmed from an incident on April 13, 2023, in which a defendant fired multiple shots from a vehicle into a residence while driving past a victim’s home, resulting in a four- to six-year prison sentence for complicity. In the other 4 indictments, he was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment, including an additional 18 months, 24 months and 2 months each, increasing the total to 12 years and 6 months. One of the drug indictments included third-degree felony counts of aggravated drug trafficking and two counts of aggravated drug possession, fourth-degree felony counts of trafficking in heroin, possession of heroin and two counts of aggravated drug trafficking, fifth-degree felony count of aggravated drug trafficking. a specification for forfeiture of money in a drug case for possession of cocaine and cocaine and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, as well as possession of $6,245.

One of the charges stemmed from Price’s alleged possession on September 1, 2023, of possessing an amount of methamphetamine equal to or greater than the community amount, but less than five times the community amount. In another case in 2024, Price pleaded guilty to aggravated charges of trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine, trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound and possession of a fentanyl-related compound, and third-degree felonies of fifth-degree felony drug trafficking. pleaded not guilty to drug trafficking, aggravated drug possession and misdemeanor drug possession.

The charges all stemmed from an incident that occurred on April 6, 2024, and involved amounts of cocaine equal to or greater than 20 grams but less than 27 grams, fentanyl equal to or greater than five grams but less than 10 grams, and xylazine.

Price also pleaded guilty to third-degree felony charges of unlawful transportation of drugs of abuse into a specified government facility, aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated drug possession, and specifications for forfeiture of money obtained from a drug case. Charges of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, possession of cocaine and two counts of aggravated drug possession and one count of drug possession were dismissed.

According to the indictment, Price brought drugs into a detention facility on Dec. 11, 2023. On December 10 and 11, 2023, Price was prepared for sale and was in possession of $2,150 as well as an amount of methamphetamine more than five times the bulk amount but less than 50 times the bulk amount.

Price also pleaded guilty to charges in a 2023 case of third-degree burglary and misdemeanor burglary for remaining at a property in Avondale, East Liverpool to commit burglary after being told to leave by the landlord as he was leaving for work on May 1, 2023.

In addition to prison terms, Price received mandatory fines totaling $45,000 and his driver’s license was suspended for five years. He was ordered to forfeit $6,245 and $2,150 and received credit for at least 165 days served in jail.
