KANSAS CITY, MO. (KCTV) – A Grandview man has been charged with multiple child sex crimes for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse materials.

Documents submitted to the institution Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court On Thursday, Nov. 7, Eric T. Jones Jr., 25, of Grandview, was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

The public grand jury indictment filed Thursday found that on Aug. 25, 2023, Jones was in possession of multiple files related to child sexual abuse material. In both cases, he faces a prison sentence of 5 to 15 years.

Court records indicate Jones was indicted on Friday. As of Saturday, November 9, he does not appear to be behind bars. A hearing is scheduled for Monday, November 18 at 2 p.m. No further information was disclosed.
