NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A man was shot in an apparent drive-by shooting along Tulane Boulevard on Saturday, Nov. 9, New Orleans police said.

The age and condition of the adult victim were not immediately released.

The man was injured at 11:48 a.m. outside or near Ciao Tapas Bar & Lounge at 4033 Tulane Boulevard.

Broken glass was visible on the sidewalk outside that business and at the adjacent Regina’s bar. New Orleans police also placed crime scene tape around the vacant lot next door as they searched the lakeside stretch of Tulane Boulevard for bullet casings and other evidence.
