CINCINNATI — The NFL fined Raiders star linebacker Maxx Crosby $11,255 for unnecessary roughness after he hit Joe Burrow after the whistle in Cincinnati’s 41-24 win.

During the hit, Crosby’s helmet collided with Burrow’s helmet. Both players then knelt on the ground and embraced.

“I could see Burrow (had no problem with the hit),” Zac Taylor said. he said. “The way they talked afterwards and so I think it was a unique situation with the timing and the whistle and (Crosby) playing at full speed. I wanted to address it but I think I might have gotten to the point of overreacting when I saw how it turned out.”
