Haynes left the game and did not return after a big hit from safety Jaden Harris on the Yellow Jackets’ next possession.

The Hurricanes will likely fall in the next AP Top 25 and College Football Playoff rankings. This defeat also knocked Miami out of a first-place tie with SMU At the top of the ACC standings.

Miami will return to South Florida in two weeks where they will host Wake Forest. Georgia Tech will also have a bye week and will return to action on Thursday, November 21 against North Carolina State.
