LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police say one person is dead after a motorcycle collided with an SUV.

Just after 3 p.m. on Oct. 25, police responded to the crash on El Capitan Road south of Saddle Boulevard.

According to police eyewitness accounts and surveillance footage, a black Jeep Grand Cherokee was leaving a private drive with a white Yiben 150cc motorcycle heading north.

Reports say the driver was ejected after hitting the left front side of the Jeep.

Medical teams determined that the driver died at the scene.

According to LVMPD, the driver of the Jeep was not suspected of being impaired and cooperated with police.

This death marks the 128th traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metro area so far in 2024.

The investigation into the accident continues.
