Stories of self-made women are often extremely inspiring and serve as a source of motivation for the younger generation. Shashi Soni’s journey is a very remarkable story. He started his entrepreneurial career by founding Deep Transport in 1971 using an initial investment of Rs 10,000. By 1975, he was running the business independently when he took his first big step into the world of entertainment and opened Deep Mandir Cinema in Mumbai’s Mulund area. This cinema existed until 1980.

In the years that followed, Shashi faced many challenges but persevered. He eventually founded Oxygen Private Limited, a gas production company in Mysuru. Over time, it expanded into the technology sector.

In 2005, Shashi founded Izmo Limited, a cutting-edge software company also based in Mysuru, specializing in automotive technology and e-retail services globally. He continues as President, guiding the company’s growth.

Beyond business, Shashi is also deeply involved in social work. As a member of Deep Janseva Samiti, she actively supports initiatives on employment, women’s education, retirement programs and fundraising for individuals with disabilities.
