Major Coronation Street It looks like the character will be framed for Joel Deering’s (Calum Lill) murder in coming scenes as shocking new evidence emerges.

Joel was killed at the end of Septemberand so far the investigation into his murder has yielded little result.

However, things change in the following scenes DC Green Kit (Jacob Roberts) is quite shocked Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) confesses crime.

He admits to hitting Joel with a crowbar in self-defense the night he died, but swears Joel was still alive when he left.

As Kit examines Dee-Dee’s confession, he comes across another shocking piece of evidence that could turn the entire case upside down.

Meanwhile, Things look sketchy for DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) as she realizes something terrible.

The detective sergeant is already accused of murder by his daughter Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin), but the situation is set to become even more alarming when he begins to suspect that someone is trying to frame him for Joel’s death.

Lisa immediately reassures Carla Connor (Alison King) and explains that the CS spray was placed near the murder weapon.

He reveals that he believes the killer put it there himself in order to set a trap for him, and soon begins to retrace his steps in hopes of finding out who stole it from him.

Will this lead him to the killer or is he just trying to cover his own tracks?

A special episode later in the week will feature a series of flashbacks interspersed with Kit’s interviews with the suspects, and viewers will finally find out. Who really killed Joel?.
