Shootings at 76th and 75th Street apartment complex near Brown Deer

MILWAUKEE – On Friday, November 8, a 4-year-old boy shot a 9-year-old boy in the northernmost part of Milwaukee.

The incident happened around 4:45 p.m. at an apartment complex on 75th Street north of Brown Deer Road. Police said the 4-year-old boy picked up a gun and unintentionally fired, hitting the 9-year-old boy.

The 9-year-old victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, according to police.

MPD detained two women, ages 27 and 22. The district attorney’s office will review the charges.
