WAIANAE (HawaiiNewsNow) – Water Supply Board crews are responding to a 12-inch water main break that closed a portion of Waianae Valley Road.

The break was reported around 6 a.m.

Waianae Valley Road is closed in both directions between McArthur Avenue and Plantation Road while repairs continue.

The public is advised to stay away from the area.

Approximately 11 customers were affected, according to BWS.

There is no timeline for when repairs will be completed.
