Georgia QB Carson Beck 0.5+ tackles

The Ole Miss defense is extremely difficult to run. According to Game on Paper, the Ole Miss defense leads the nation in destruction rate. They also lead the nation in yards per carry allowed by opposing offenses (2.3 yards). And teams have found the end zone only four times this season against Ole Miss. This will be a desperation spot for Ole Miss, so I expect the defense to bring energy. If Georgia can’t run the ball, Beck will be in a bad spot. He has made multiple tackles in 4 of his last 5 games, including 3 in his last 2 games. Maybe this will improve a bit and Georgia will make amends, but I’d still be confident in Ole Miss getting one from Beck. period throughout the game.

Wake Forest QB Hank Bachmeier more than 0.5 tackles

At 4-4, Wake Forest is still fighting for bowl rights, and with road games remaining at North Carolina and Miami, the Demon Deacons really need it at home. After opening the season 1-3, they won 3 of the last 4 games. But Bachmeier wasn’t clean from start to finish. There were interceptions in all of his last 5 matches. He has 8 turnover-worthy games on the season. And now he faces a Cal defense that has thrown 14 interceptions in eight games so far this year. The Bears have at least 1 interception in every game except this season.

LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier has over 259.5 passing yards

Nussmeier discounted Sleeping Currently, his 287.5 passing yards are down to 259.5. I would play his trick no matter what. Nussmeier ranks seventh nationally with at least 300 yards on 6 of his 8 passes so far this season. He’s coming off a 405-yard game against Texas A&M. Whether LSU is looking to take advantage of Alabama’s questionable secondary (Keon Sabb), who is missing a key piece, or is playing catch-up after failing to slow down Jalen Milroe, I expect to see another high-usage game from Nussmeier. He made at least 39 pass attempts in 5 of his last 6 games.

TCU QB Josh Hoover has over 309.5 passing yards

Oklahoma State’s defense is terrible. Only 4 teams have given up more 20-yard pass plays this season, and no one has given up more 30-yard pass plays. I’m watching to see if Oklahoma State, which has lost 6 games in a row, can throw in the towel on the road this weekend. This has been a lost season for the Pokes. Hoover, the nation’s No. 3 passer behind Jaxson Dart and Cam Ward, needs his field day. He has thrown for 300 yards in a game 6 times this season, 2 in a row. In both of these games, the Horned Frogs lost by more than 30 points. They’ve done this 5 times against 8 FBS opponents they’ve faced this season. So Hoover has a reason to kick the ball into the yard. Whether that will be the case against Oklahoma State is a bit of a question mark, but Hoover may not even need more than 30 pass attempts to surpass that number.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders has over 325.5 passing yards

I’m aiming for another Big 12 runner-up this week. Sanders’ number is a big deal, but that’s what you get when an elite quarterback faces a smelly pass defense. Only Ball State and Tulsa have given up more 10-yard passing plays this season than Texas Tech. Tulsa is the only FBS team to give up more passing yards. The Red Raiders rank 114th in EPA per regression this year. Game on Paper. Over the last 6 games, opposing quarterbacks have thrown for an average of 321 passing yards against Texas Tech. And none of these guys have the talent that Sanders has. Colorado needs this game and it’s not running the football.
