“Home birth is so funny. Because you have to rent this… I don’t know if you did this, but we rented this plastic tub,” Speedman shared.

“At three in the morning, it’s like you’re four hours in. I was in the bathtub with her, holding her, while two people we barely knew were watching from over the bathtub,” he joked. “You don’t really know them. And they’re at your house and you’re just, you know, tired.”

“So don’t you have a bathtub too?” homeowner Seth Meyers he asked.

“No, we have a bathtub at home,” Speedman replied, laughing.

As the two continued to talk about bathtubs, Meyers asked how special the tub they brought for a home birth was.

“It was bigger and inflatable. When I was in the first pains of labor, it was like I was pumping gas…” Speedman responded, laughing and imitating inflating a pool.

“Again, everything seems to be telling me you should use your tub,” Meyers joked.

“Yes, we should have used our bathtub. We have a great bathtub downstairs,” the actor said.

In September, Speedman’s fiancee announced that the couple had welcomed an invitation. new addition to their family.
