WATERTOWN — A 19-year-old Boston man faces multiple charges after he was allegedly stabbed at a bus stop in Watertown, authorities said Tuesday.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Watertown Police Chief Justin Hanrahan announced that Michael McGhee was arraigned in Waltham District Court on charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The incident occurred around 5:15 pm on Sunday, October 22, at Mt.

Auburn and Boylston streets.

Police responded to 911 calls reporting a disturbance and found a man with injuries to his face and two cuts on his back consistent with stab wounds.

The victim told police he was waiting for a bus, but a vehicle passed by several times before stopping nearby.

Allegedly, three masked men got out of the vehicle, approached him and started attacking him after asking where he was from.

It was reported that one of the attackers stabbed him twice in the back during the attack.

The suspects escaped 2 minutes later by getting into their vehicle.

The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.

McGhee was ordered held without bail until a dangerousness hearing scheduled for November 1.

The charges against him include assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shoefoot), assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife), assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) and conspiracy.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
