Harry Styles and Paul Mescal fans appear to be taking inspiration from Timothée Chalamet’s fans as they plan a similar contest for their favorite actor.

A viral post circulating on social media advertises an upcoming lookalike contest. As Is hitman and Normal People The star attracted the attention of the public.

The post comes after Chalamet made a surprise appearance at a fan-hosted lookalike contest in New York in early October. Dune The star presented the trophy to the winner, Miles Mitchell.

Since the contest, fans of Styles and Mescal have been hoping to organize something similar in hopes of meeting the beloved artists.

A post on Instagram read: “#HarryStyles lookalike competition in London this Saturday! Be there or be ready! Send this to someone who needs to attend. 1pm, 9 November, Soho Square.”

People had hilarious reactions to this news when someone wrote: “Trying to copy New York in the hopes Harry will show up like Timmy C, haha.”

Another declared it a “genius” idea, while another joked, “Hahahaha wait (I’ll be there).”

Meanwhile, the announcement of Mescal’s contest came from Irish digital lifestyle and culture brand Lovin Dublin.

The official account stated: “In today’s ridiculous news, a Paul Mescal lookalike contest will be held in Smithfield Square on Thursday, November 7th at 1pm.”

The page continued: “Grand prize of 3 pints or €20. We hope Timothée Chalamet takes a page out of his book and attends the event.”
