OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Crews battled an industrial fire in Omaha Tuesday night.

Just before 7 p.m., the Omaha Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at a warehouse building near North 16th Street and Storz Expressway, about two miles west of Eppley Airport.

Fire crews detected smoke and flames coming from the building. A fire was reported and crews brought the fire under control in less than 20 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but OFD estimates approximately $100,000 in damage was caused as a result.
