STORY: Now safe to return to the White House, US President-elect Donald Trump has a list of people he says he wants to prosecute or investigate.

These include political rivals, left-wing Americans and tech giants.

So who might Trump target?

:: Political rivals

Trump has called for investigations into Vice President Kamala Harris, President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama and former Republican U.S. Representative Liz Cheney.

At a rally in September, Trump said Harris was responsible for “the greatest crime story of our time,” referring to illegal border crossings.

“He should be removed from office and prosecuted for his actions.”

He also posted on websites calling for military courts to be established for Cheney and Obama.

:: Protesters

Following pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses across the United States this year, Trump told Fox News that anyone who disrespects the American flag should receive a one-year prison sentence.

He also said he would ban the resettlement of refugees in “terror-ridden” areas such as Gaza and arrest “pro-Hamas thugs” who engage in vandalism, an apparent reference to university student protesters.

:: Technology giants

Trump also warned Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google about what he said was potential election interference on their platforms.

He accused Zuckerburg’s Meta of hiding content that would harm Biden in the 2020 election.

Trump also threatened to order the Justice Department to criminally investigate Google simply for “publishing bad stories” about him.

:: Prosecutors

Trump and his allies have called for prosecutors who oppose or investigate him to be prosecuted, dismissed or jailed.

In an interview with Time in April, he said that if U.S. Attorneys refused orders to prosecute someone, he would be open to firing them.

He also said he would fire the federal prosecutor who is leading criminal investigations against him.
