A Boston man has been charged after authorities say he stabbed a man waiting for a bus in Watertown Tuesday evening.

Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said 19-year-old Michael McGhee was killed Oct. 22 in Mt. He was arraigned Friday in Waltham District Court on charges related to the stabbing that occurred near Auburn and Boylston streets, he said.

The district attorney said Watertown police responded to Mt. Tuesday around 5:15 p.m. He said he went to a bus stop near Auburn and Boylston avenues after receiving a report of a disturbance.

The district attorney said officers spoke with an unidentified man with injuries to his face and head. He also had two cuts on his back that looked like stab wounds.

The district attorney said the man was waiting for a bus but passed a vehicle several times. The vehicle stopped at the corner and three masked men got out of the vehicle and asked the man where he was from, then punched and kicked him.

The district attorney said one of the suspects stabbed the man twice in the back. Two minutes later, the suspects got back into the car and drove away. The man was taken to the hospital and discharged after treatment. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.

The district attorney said McGhee was ordered held without bail until a dangerousness hearing on Nov. 1.
