SAPD said the trailer the minivan was pulling rolled over the highway after colliding with the SUV on the Northeast Side

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a two-vehicle crash on the Northeast Side early Wednesday.

The crash occurred just after 5 a.m. in the eastbound lane in the 1900 block of NE Loop 410, just east of San Antonio International Airport.

A red SUV and a white minivan were involved in the accident. Police said the 22-year-old woman driving the SUV lost control of her vehicle after she thought she hit an object.

Trying to regain control, the woman collided with a trailer attached to the tow truck pulled by the 35-year-old man driving the minibus.

Due to the impact, the trailer separated from the minibus, overturned and hit the right wall of the highway, causing its contents to spill.

While both vehicles suffered serious damage, the front part of the minibus suffered serious damage.

It was stated that there were no injuries in the accident.
