Four people have been arrested in connection with a murder investigation in Plymouth, police said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said a 36-year-old man died during a stabbing incident reported at around 2.30pm on Monday on Cambridge Road in the city’s Ford area.

Police said a 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, while three women, aged 27, 38 and 40, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Senior investigating officer Det Ch Insp Steve Fleetwood said the suspects were believed to be known to the victim and a request for information remained active.
