OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – Voters had a number of important decisions to make at the ballot box Tuesday.

So are their children.

Overland Park,”Let Children Vote! JoCo” survey. It contained ballots from more than 8,500 children.

With 63 percent of the votes, the kids chose the Kansas City Chiefs as their favorite sports team.

• Kansas City Current – 965
• Sporting Kansas City – 659

The race for the best superhero just got a lot closer with a surprise winner.
