PALMER LAKE — Popular grocery store Buc-ee’s may be coming to Palmer Lake. The town is holding a meeting about the possibility of annexing township land to the flagpole.

Palmer Lake Mayor Glant Havenar told News5 he shared details about the multi-step process on his Facebook page so the community can better understand what comes next, but he said it’s too early and no decisions have been made. You can see the post below:

The popular grocery store, which traces its origins to Texas, has become a must-visit destination for those on the road. There is a location in Johnstown, Colorado, south of Fort Collins.

The Palmer Lake Board of Trustees will hold a hearing Dec. 12 to determine whether Buc-ee’s is eligible to take the next step in annexing county land.
