All five people were riding in the Tesla. The sheriff’s office said it, along with Verona Police, Fire and Emergency Services, responded to the crash, which occurred at 11:12 p.m. In the press release it says The vehicle went off the road, hit a tree, and the Tesla began to burn. The crash occurred in the town of Verona, about 10 miles southwest of Madison.

It was determined that all 5 people in the vehicle died at the scene.
