EL MIRAGE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is in the hospital following a shooting in El Mirage Sunday evening.

At approximately 7:40 p.m., El Mirage Police were called to reports of shots fired in the area of ​​Dysart and Waddell roads. Police said a caller reported that someone had been shot.

Police teams arriving at the scene found a seriously injured person. He was hospitalized; current status is unknown.
