The Rams would pull off a comeback win on the road in Seattle, capped by a game-winning goal from veteran receiver Demarcus Robinson, to win the game 26-20 in overtime.

After the game, Nacua was asked about his experience watching the game on a television screen instead of from the sideline. In classic Puka style, he was optimistic and didn’t let the disqualification distract him from his sense of victory. He had a smile on his face as he described his experience.

“They had the Seattle broadcast here along with the Fox NFL game, so I kind of heard Kam Kinchens’ pick, and the announcer said, ‘No!’ and ‘Yes!’ I shout, it was interesting that way,” Nacua said about watching the game from the locker room. “Yeah, I was just walking and then I see guys making plays. TJ (WR Tyler Johnson) comes in with that one in the middle and grabs it from Woolen (CB Riq Woolen) over there, so somebody blows me and then Kyren (RB Kyren Williams) in this overtime Seeing that he was able to recover and that we were able to move the offensive line, especially with D-Rob (WR Demarcus Robinson), there was a police officer here and we were there too. I chatted a little bit, but I may have overreacted. I may have caught him a little off guard, but man, one-handed overtime like that got me off my feet.”

This was the first time Nacua had been sent off at any level of football. The emotions of an NFL game can spill over to any player at any time. It was Nacua who became indisciplined on Sunday, and as McVay mentioned in his press conference, the young star will learn from that.
