One person was hospitalized with serious injuries in a rollover accident that occurred Sunday morning near Woodstock, Ontario. This caused congestion along Hwy. For 401 hours.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 7 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway between Sweaburg Road and Dodge Line.

A photo posted on social media by the OPP shows an overturned tractor trailer being winched out of the highway’s north ditch by two heavy-duty tractor trailers.

Details about the incident were limited and the OPP did not return a request for comment Sunday.

Police said shortly before 8 a.m. the driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. It was stated that their current status is unknown.

The crash caused significant delays in the westbound lanes of the highway until the afternoon.
