As a result of the collision of two cars, 1 person died and 2 people were injured.

Staffordshire Police said a gray BMW Estate and a black Renault Clio were involved in a collision on the A34 Stone Road near Stoke-on-Trent at around 8.30pm on Saturday.

It was determined that the 21-year-old BMW driver died at the scene. A passenger in the BWM and the driver of the other car were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash, which occurred on the south side of the road between Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest island, should contact police.
