LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — A 14-year-old boy died after an All-Terrain Vehicle crash Saturday night, according to a press release issued by Crawford County Sheriff Scott Kent.

The teenager’s name was not released at the time of publication.

The incident occurred at 7:12 p.m., when the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to 5550 State Route 96 in Liberty Township for a report of an ATV crash.

According to Kent’s press release, the accident occurred when a side-by-side vehicle rolled over, ejecting two passengers. Two passengers on the ATV were slightly injured.

The 14-year-old male driver was treated at the scene for serious injuries by Liberty Township Fire Department, Life First EMS and Med-Flight paramedics.

The 14-year-old male was transported by Life First EMS to Bucyrus Community Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
