Coaches Make Late Moves for Week 9

The Los Angeles Rams (3-4) made several late roster moves ahead of their Week 9 league matchup with the Seattle Seahawks (4-4).

He was joined from the practice squad Saturday afternoon by rookie inside linebacker Elias Neal and third-year punter Ty Zentner. A few moves to shore up positions disrupted by injuries last week.

Zentner joined the Rams practice squad from the Tennessee Titans a few days ago and will be assigned to the starting role this Sunday. Zentner will be asked to punt for the fourth-seeded Rams with starting punter Ethan Evans sidelined with an illness.

The third-year punter bounced between three different organizations during his first few seasons in the league. He recorded a total of 38 career punts, 10 of which were pinned inside the 20-yard line.

Seattle’s Lumen Field is never an easy place to punt or kick due to a windy outdoor stadium environment that can cause problems any time the ball is in the air. This will not be easy for Zentner, who has not placed any bets this season and will experience the feeling of playing in Seattle for the first time.

Additional activation Neil A big help after another injury took a toll on the Rams defense. Sixth year linebacker Troy Reeder He was placed on the injured reserve list on Thursday and will be out for a significant period of time.

Neal will join rookie linebacker Omer Speights He’s in the middle of the defense and taking the first snaps of his NFL career.
