It seems like many NFL teams are content with their current rosters and avoiding any further moves at the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline.

Dianna Russini The Athletic reports that the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints likely won’t be “buyers or sellers” before Nov. 5 and will proceed as they do with the rest of the schedule.

It’s not a secret or exciting, but it makes sense: The Denver Broncos love what they’re building with their young players, especially after their best offensive performance of the season last week (28 points on four goals from Bo Nix). Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph has been a superstar running a unit that has slowed down some high-powered offenses this year. Still, I don’t expect the Broncos to be buyers or sellers. You can add the Las Vegas Raiders, Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints to this group.

The Raiders are currently 2-6 and in last place in the AFC West. The team has already dealt wide receiver Davante Adams, and others like Maxx Crosby and Jakobi Meyers could have an intriguing market. However, the franchise is constantly expressed A desire to avoid additional moves and instead maintain the current roster and potentially reload in the off-season.

The Bills are in a much different situation, currently at 6-2 in the AFC East. The team added wide receiver Amari Cooper last month, and any further moves could help the team push for a potential first-round bye in the postseason. But the Bills have just $2.6 million in cap space per capita. spotracand any potential move would likely require some financial maneuvering.

The Denver Broncos are currently 5-3 and look like a viable candidate to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2015. An additional point guard in rookie point guard Bo Nix could help improve the team’s chances, but could potentially bog down the team by leaving value. A roster full of young talent doesn’t seem like a desirable strategy for Denver.

The New Orleans Saints got off to a 2-0 start but have since lost six straight games and need a complete momentum change to sniff the postseason. Selling high on some talent could be an intriguing option, but the hot start and talent on the roster makes betting on the season a tough choice.
