ELIZABETHHOWN, Ky. (WAVE) – Suspicious Shot in Baptist Health Hardin’s emergency room He was indicted on six counts by a Hardin County Grand Jury on Oct. 19, Elizabethtown Police’s Chris Denham said.

George Lee Jr. He faces two counts of kidnapping, three counts of wanton endangerment and one count of persistent felonies.

Police said Lee was armed with a handgun and opened fire inside the hospital around 5 a.m. that day, but no one was hit.

E-Town Police arrived to confront Lee when Lt. Alex Ruiz fired and hit Lee. Ruiz, a 10-year veteran of the ministry, was placed on administrative leave.

The indictment was served after he was released from UofL Hospital.

Lee will be held in the Hardin County Detention Center.
