A 19-year-old woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash northwest of Edmonton last week.

He was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of 52 Avenue and 47 Street in Whitecourt Township on Thursday, October 24, around 3:30 p.m.

RCMP said a co-worker took him to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been released.

Police said the suspect was a boy between 16 and 18 years old, with light skin and brown hair. He was wearing a gray shirt and hat at the time.

He was driving a newer, gold Ford Escape.

Police are seeking witnesses and requesting dashcam footage from the area at the time of the crash.
