    Body of last missing Impact Plastics worker found weeks after Helene floods

    ERWIN, Tennessee. (WVLT/Gray News) – The body of the last Impact Plastics employee missing in Erwin, Tennessee has been recovered more than a month after flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.

    Unicoi County Search and Rescue officials confirmed that 29-year-old Rosa Andrade was among six workers killed in flooding at the facility.

    She leaves behind a husband and two children.

    Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration Last month, it announced that it had launched an investigation into Impact Plastics.

    The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was also investigating how the company handled the historic flooding after some employees claimed the company did not allow them to leave the Erwin facility with enough time to reach safety.
