The City of Ottawa wants people around Gloucester Center and Highway 174 motorists to know it is planning a mock emergency near Blair Station on Saturday.

The City of Ottawa wants people around Gloucester Center and Highway 174 motorists to know it is planning a mock emergency near Blair Station on Saturday.

A media advisory on Friday said: Emergency response training should be provided along the westbound lanes of the motorway before the Blair Road exit and along the future rail extension east of Blair station.

Practice must relate to this extension and run from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday unless weather or other conditions require a change.

As always and according to the law, drivers should pull over and slow down Near emergency vehicles whenever possible.

This extension of the Confederation Line will move the easternmost station from Blair by five stations and approximately 12 kilometers to Trim Road. It could be Ready for summer 2025.

Current Confederate Line closed this weekend for maintenance and was replaced by R1 buses.
