MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – A Stearns County man was seriously injured in an incident with a bull at a farm in Holding Township on Wednesday.

What do we know?

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was called to a farm on County Road 52 near 160th Street for the incident Wednesday morning.

The 911 caller reported that a 45-year-old man, later identified as Keith Woitalla, had been mauled by a bull on the farm.

The bull was still in the pen with Woitalla at the time of the call. However, when deputies arrived, the bull had been moved to a separate pen.

Deputies say Woitalla eventually crashed into St. Louis with serious injuries. He says he was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Deputies did not explain the exact circumstances that led to Woitalla’s injury or how Woitalla was injured.
